Why aren't my categories or maintenance reports updating?

Are your categories or special page reports not updating? Don't worry, it's actually supposed to be this way. But why? In order for all wikis to run efficiently, categories, special page reports, and other tasks on the MediaWiki "job queue" do not run automatically. Wikipedia does the same thing; their special page reports are cached and only get updated once or twice a month! However, here at MyWikis, we let you update it more often. As the admin of the wiki, you will be able to update it whenever you'd like.

To update your wiki's categories, special page maintenance reports, or to run the job queue, visit Special:RefreshWiki on your wiki. Click the button representing what you need to do.

For all self service options, visit Special:SelfService.

Are you a wiki owner and want regular users to also be able to refresh categories, run the job queue, etc? Get this fixed by contacting our support team by opening a ticket.
